The CJC-1295, Ipamorelin Peptide
CJC-1295, Ipamorelin (Bremelanotide) is a prescription peptide medication. Used for the treatment of acquired,
generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women.
THE BENEFITS
CJC-1295, Ipamorelin (Bremelanotide) has been clinically studied for its potential role in supporting sexual desire, arousal response, and intimacy-related wellness.
Unlike traditional therapies that primarily target vascular blood flow, PT-141 works centrally through melanocortin receptor pathways associated with
libido and neurologic stimulation. Reported and clinically studied benefits may include enhanced sexual desire, increased arousal responsiveness,
improved intimacy satisfaction, and support for individuals experiencing reduced libido or arousal dysfunction. Some investigational and off-label
discussions have also explored its potential use in individuals who may not adequately respond to traditional phosphodiesterase-based therapies.
ITEMS YOU WILL NEED
Proper sterile handling procedures should always be followed to minimize contamination risk and ensure measurement accuracy.
BACTERIOSTATIC WATER (BAC water) for dilution purposes and sterile ALCOHOL PREP PADS.
DISPOSABLE SYRINGE 5ml/cc Lab Syringes with 22Ga 1.25 Inch Needle Luer Lock to extract the Bac Water and to insert into the peptide vial.
DISPOSABLE SYRINGE 31G insulin syringe with 5/16 needle for application.
PROPER MEASUREMENTS
A commonly dilution for a 10mg PT-141 vial is:
Add 2mL of bacteriostatic water (BAC water) to the vial.
This creates a concentration of:
10 mg / 2 mL = 5 mg/mL
With a standard U-100 insulin syringe: 10 units = 0.1mL
At this dilution:
10 units = 0.5mg
20 units = 1mg
35 units = 1.75mg
BACTERIOSTATIC WATER (BAC water) DILUTION INSTRUCTIONS
Clean the workspace thoroughly with 70% isopropyl alcohol.Remove the plastic caps from both the peptide vial and the
Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) vial. Clean both rubber stoppers with fresh alcohol swabs and allow them to air dry completely.
Utilizing a sterile syringe, draw exactly the proper amount of Bacteriostatic Water. Insert the needle through the center of the peptide rubber stopper.
Angle the needle against the inner glass wall of the vial. Slowly inject the diluent down the side of the glass. Do not inject directly into the
lyophilized powder cake, as forceful impact can shear the delicate peptide bonds. Allow the vial to sit undisturbed for a few minutes. If particles remain,
gently swirl or roll the vial between your palms. Never shake the vial. The solution must be completely clear and free of particulate matter before use.
HOW TO APPLY
Pinch a 1 to 2 inch fold of skin between your thumb and forefinger to isolate the subcutaneous tissue from underlying muscle.
Insert the needle at a 45 to 90 degree angle (depending on tissue depth and needle length) with a swift, controlled motion.
Depress the plunger at a slow, steady rate until the syringe is completely empty. Hold the needle in place for 5 seconds to prevent
product backflow, then withdraw it at the exact same angle it was inserted. Apply gentle pressure to the site with a sterile gauze pad for a few seconds.
Do not rub or massage the injection site, as this can cause localized irritation or bruising.
APPLICATION SCHEDULE
PT-141 is intended for intermittent, as-needed administration rather than daily continuous use. Clinical literature commonly references administration approximately
30 to 90 minutes prior to anticipated activity, although onset and duration may vary between individuals. Standard prescribing guidelines indicate that usage should
not exceed one administration within a 24-hour period or more than eight administrations within a 30-day timeframe. Individual response profiles, tolerability,
and onset characteristics may differ significantly between patients.
STORAGE AND CARE
Unreconstituted PT-141 should generally be stored in a cool, dry environment away from direct heat, moisture, and sunlight. Following reconstitution with bacteriostatic
water, refrigerated storage is commonly recommended to help preserve peptide stability and sterility. Store the reconstituted solution immediately in a dark refrigerator at
(36°F to 46°F). The vial should remain sealed when not in use and handled using sterile practices at all times. Exposure to excessive heat, freezing temperatures,
direct sunlight, or contamination may compromise peptide integrity and product stability. Avoid physical agitation or vibration, it might cause structural degradation over time.
PROVEN RESULTS
PT-141 possesses one of the more extensively studied clinical profiles among peptide-based therapies due to multiple randomized, placebo-controlled human trials
for specific therapeutic use. Clinical research has demonstrated statistically significant improvements in sexual desire scores, reductions in distress associated with low libido,
and increased patient-reported satisfaction outcomes in appropriately selected individuals. Research findings have also suggested measurable improvements in arousal responsiveness
and intimacy-related quality-of-life metrics. However, individual outcomes may vary substantially based on physiologic, hormonal, neurologic, and psychological factors.
WHAT NOT TO DO (Important)
PT-141 should not be used in excess of established prescribing or research guidelines. Users should avoid repeated high-frequency administration, improper dilution methods,
non-sterile handling practices, or combining peptide therapies without professional oversight. Intravenous or intramuscular administration methods not specifically
indicated in prescribing information should be avoided unless directed by a qualified healthcare provider. Individuals with uncontrolled hypertension, significant cardiovascular
disease, or known hypersensitivity to bremelanotide should exercise caution and seek professional medical evaluation prior to use. Use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in
combination with unapproved substances should not occur without licensed medical supervision.
